Whitney/Strong is committed to finding common ground to end gun violence through data-driven, responsible gun ownership solutions.

Who we are: Whitney/Strong began its efforts to end gun violence just three weeks after Executive Director and Co-founder Whitney Austin was shot twelve times in the Fountain Square mass shooting in September 2018. Moved to action after miraculously surviving, Whitney and her husband, Waller, set out to create organization for all people, regardless of political affiliation, gun owernship or background, focused on finding common ground, bipartisan solutions to ending gun violence.

Our ask:  Our 2023 #SeasonOfStrong end-of-year giving kicks off with Cincinnati Gives, which runs from November 27 at 5 pm ET through December 7 at 5 pm ET. Our network across the country is coming together to tap into the power of human connection to strengthen our communities by creating a future free of gun violence.
