Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati

Great Futures Start Here

Since 1939, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati (BGCGC) has provided young people with a safe, supportive place to learn, build relationships, and explore their potential. Today, 7 Clubs serving Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Clermont County offer youth in grades K–12 free after-school and summer programs, nutritious meals, and guidance from caring adults.

The Club: A Place to Be and Belong

The Club experience combines academic support, healthy meals, sports and creative activities, leadership opportunities, and guidance for life beyond high school. Staff help members work through challenges, discover their interests, and build skills over time. For teens, workforce development programs provide career exploration, connections to employers, and support with education and employment. Each part of the Club day serves a larger purpose: helping young people succeed in school, develop healthy habits, contribute to their communities, and prepare for their futures.

Our Programs

Every day, our staff guide young people through structured, curriculum-based programs that build lifelong skills, confidence, and a foundation for their futures.

 Programming centers on 3 pillars:

Graduate
Fit for Life
Ready to Serve
Helping young people succeed in school and prepare for what comes next through academic support, hands-on learning, and college and career exploration.
Helping young people build healthy habits through physical activity, team sports, nutrition education, and programs that support their physical and emotional well-being.
Helping young people become engaged community members through leadership development, community service, and opportunities to work together and make a difference.
Programs include: Power Hour and STEM activities.
Programs include: Healthy Habits and team sports.
Programs include: Service Learning and Keystone Club.

Workforce Development

Our workforce development programs give teens exposure to opportunities and career paths they may never have considered, along with support to explore their interests and plan their next steps. At the Club, high school students:

  • Explore careers: Meet employers, visit workplaces, and learn about different paths.

  • Get hands-on experience: Try new skills through programs like SheBuilds Camp, where teens explored construction, design, and engineering while creating a Career Closet.

  • Prepare for what’s next: Get support with job placement, scholarship opportunities, and planning for college, training, or employment.

  • Find a place to belong: Connect with friends and caring staff in dedicated teen spaces with activities including e-sports.

The goal is to help teens reach graduation with a clearer sense of what comes next and the skills, relationships, and support to pursue it.

The Gift of Opportunity

Every great future begins with a first.

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover what’s possible. After all, kids can’t dream about what they don’t know exists. Every day, our members are introduced to new experiences, new people and new possibilities that help them learn more about themselves and imagine bigger, brighter futures.

This holiday season, Give the Gift of Opportunity and help make a young person’s next “first” possible.
