Cincinnati Works believes a job is just the beginning.

A non-profit agency, Cincinnati Works (CW) provides employment, job retention, and career advancement services to those seeking a better life for themselves and their families. CW’s uniquely successful model of CW brings together coaching, ongoing professional development, and employer relationship management. 

Working closely with employer partners, CW ensures our members find and retain quality jobs, allowing them to build financial stability and accumulate wealth. The key to our success as an organization is our individualized, 1:1 coaching approach which helps clients overcome personal and professional barriers to employment.

All of CW’s services are available to members at no charge for life. These services include:

Job Readiness Training to prepare members to apply for, earn, and retain employment and covering topics such as resume writing, workplace conduct, interviewing, and digital literacy.

Staffing Assistance to connect members with positions that meet their needs and interests while providing our employer partners with a strong workforce.

Career Coaching, the “secret sauce” of our employment model, that provides personalized, one on one coaching to develop a plan for success in member’s personal and professional lives. 

Financial Coaching including budgeting, debt resolution, credit building, and asset building. We also offer members free tax preparation.

Legal Support & Social/Emotional Support through partnerships with the Ohio Justice & Policy Center and Tri Health and offered to members free of charge.

With the support of our community and generous donors, CW has made a significant impact on the community. A new report by the University of Cincinnati Economic Center shows CW has helped members earn more than 11,500 job placements and generated $126 million in income from those job placements.
