DOITFORJACK is on a Mission to Educate Our Community About The Threat of Fentanyl Poisoning

The Jack Quehl Foundation was established in 2022 in loving memory of John Thomas (“Jack”) Quehl, who tragically lost his life due to fentanyl poisoning on September 20th, 2021. 

Every day, lives are being devastated by fentanyl poisoning—a crisis that knows no boundaries and spares no one. At DOITFORJACK, our mission is clear: to end the fentanyl epidemic by ensuring that every person is informed about its real and deadly dangers.

We’re bringing together the Greater Cincinnati community and beyond to fight fentanyl and make sure that no other family loses their Jack. We do it for our Jack. We do it for yours.

Through the power of Jack’s story, we are making an impact:

•  The Little Miami Chamber Alliance named DOITFORJACK their 2025 Non-Profit of the Year.
• Over 10,000 individuals have heard Jack’s story at our speaking engagements, becoming informed advocates against fentanyl.
•  Our new website offers facts, resources, and more for fentanyl awareness education.
•  Our documentary, "Don't Lose Your Jack" won Best Documentary in the 2025 Loveland Shorts Film Fest. 
•  Our newly implemented peer-to-peer program empowers students to inform and support one another through impactful events and outreach.
•  We testified before Ohio's House Judiciary Committee to push for increased drug control and advocate for legislation requiring fentanyl education in schools.
•   Our message has reached millions through appearances on national news networks and podcasts, including a Scripps Network Special, “To Save a Life: Sounding the Fentanyl Alarm,” streaming on all major platforms.
