GLAD House

GLAD House provides a comprehensive after-school and summer program for children ages 5-12 impacted by parental addiction. Our Champs Program provides mental health treatment, substance abuse prevention education, cultural enrichment activities, nutritious meals, homework assistance, and social recreation with peers. Most importantly, these outstanding services are provided at no cost to the family! GLAD House is a safe place for these children to lay down their burdens and to just be kids.

GLAD House works with high-risk, low-income marginalized communities in a way that no other organization in the region does. We understand that in order to have a fair chance and excelling in life, safety and early-life success are paramount. At GH, we provide a sense of felt safety while working to remove the trauma responses of our kids in their everyday life. GH’s Champs Program is designed to provide these children with the support and resources they need to break the cycle of addiction and achieve their full potential.
