$15,000 Goal

Cincinnati is home. It’s where our stories live, where our families have grown, and where generations continue to look out for one another.

Giving Voice Foundation was created with our neighbors, grandparents, friends, and care partners in mind. Our mission is simple and human: to build connections that support everyone impacted by dementia and create a community where no one feels alone. Through free programs rooted in creativity, movement, and shared experience, we bring comfort, joy, and connection to families across Cincinnati.

"Creative Connections allows my loved one to be connected with a community of others that are walking the same path. It’s a place where he feels safe in being himself."

Every week, we hear stories from families who feel isolated, overwhelmed, or unseen. Connection changes that. When someone feels heard, they feel less alone.

Your support helps us build a dementia community where no one feels alone.

Join us in lifting the voices of those often less heard. 💙

Our Free Programs

Creative Connections

An interactive music and movement program for people living with dementia, paired with a simultaneous support group for their care partners. This is often where families tell us they feel connected again.

Brains in Bloom

A monthly floral-arranging class in partnership with Druffel Gardens and Cincinnati Wholesale Florist. Participants and loved ones create something beautiful together while strengthening memory, creativity, and joy.

Dancing to Remember

A ballroom dance program taught by Mary Ramirez Cook. Participants move, laugh, and reconnect through rhythm and gentle motion.

Purposeful Planning Program

One-on-one guidance from clinical social workers who help families navigate the caregiving journey with clarity and direction.

Music in Motion

A partnership with ERS and the Cincinnati Opera, combining opera, movement, and yoga-inspired exercises to help participants feel grounded and connected.

Caring for the Caregiver

A writing workshop where caregivers process their experiences through poetry, storytelling, and journaling.

GVF MIND Diet Resource Center

Easy, approachable tools for families to find simple ways to support brain health through food. With recipes, cooking videos, and guidance rooted in connection and care, it helps people feel confident bringing brain-healthy habits into daily life.
