ish started, in part, to spark joy. As our world continues to emerge from a global pandemic, ish continues to nurture our community through creative, accessible, and supportive experiences. When we safely convened 8,500 people in September for the Biennial ish Festival, we showed just how crucial our work is right now. Our work is intergenerational, we proudly support teens, young adults, families, and the entire community through user-designed experiences that foster a deeper appreciation of the arts, nurture Jewish identity, and bring about good in our world. We need these experiences now more than ever.

I'm so proud of all that we accomplished this year, but here are some bottom-line highlights that stand out:

ish became the new operator of the Cincinnati Jewish Teen Initiative, paving the way for large-scale community engagement, radical partnerships, and culture reform

ish launched our subscription service, Holidays in a Box, which has already put thousands of dollars in the pockets of local small businesses, especially those owned by Women and LGBTQ entrepreneurs

ish celebrated the third Biennial ish Festival, our largest and most successful yet. Over two days with an expanded footprint, we created new experiences, including a headline concert by Matisyahu.

This Giving Tuesday and beyond, we need your help to Keep the Chutzpah Alive. Got Chutzpah to share? Any gift goes a long way for our young, grassroots effort.

From my family and our team, wishing you a very Happy Hanukkah & Happy Holidays, no matter how or if you celebrate!

B'Shalom (in peace),

MKB
