Our mission is to nurture and nourish people in need. The safety and welfare of the St. Francis Seraph Ministry’s guests, volunteers, friends, and staff has been and is a top priority. Breakfast, bag lunch, and a warm boxed dinner is available Monday through Friday.
Providing meals and a human connection is critical, and will continue, for anyone who visits the St. Anthony Center. SFSM is committed to serving the community through this health pandemic and beyond. Much is unknown and the situation continues to evolve, but no matter what; every life matters.
The gratitude and appreciation from guests has been humbling and encourages our commitment to serving anyone in need. A father shed tears of joy as he and his daughter stopped by to pick up dinner; and the little girl smiled while applying ample hand sanitizer before standing on her toes to reach her warm boxed dinner on the table. The father said repeatedly “these are tears of joy” as he shook his head acknowledging the volunteers.
We are preparing people for jobs in the textile industry by teaching basic sewing skills and communication skills.
As we work together to make a difference in the world, please keep our guests, volunteers, and staff in your prayers each day for the safety and the well-being of everyone who needs our support.
