Mission

Our mission at The BDK Fund (Brighter Days 4 Kids) is to effect positive change in the lives of local youth. We accomplish our mission through our two thriving programs.

The BDK Scholars Program

local high school students in need or those with a passion for community service.

students with utility, discipline and confidence to foster compassion and academic excellence.

students to community service requirements that expose them to diverse socioeconomic disparities and medical challenges.

The Brighter Days Program

local children or families deserving of a “Brighter Day”.

meaningful acts or experiences that put smiles on their faces and distracts them from their worries, if only for a day!

youth-oriented community events that promote positive energy, meaningful relationships and goodwill toward others.

This past year our Brighter Days Program organized many community events including a birthday party at HER Cincinnati honoring the children of the organization's participants, a Fiesta Celebration at Esperanza Latino Center in Northern Kentucky, and our 1st Annual All-Star Game Event at Dunham Recreation Center celebrating the participants and families of Cincinnati Recreation Center's Miracle League.

We partner with many local organizations and nonprofits in the tri-state area: Queen City Book Bank, Esperanza Latino Center, CPS- Mt Airy, GME & Westwood Elementary, Veterans-Wreaths Across America, Green Township Senior Citizens group, A Childs Hope International, Operation Christmas Child, The Miracle League, CRC Therapeutic Rec, FreeStore Foodbank, TOPSoccer, Saturday Hoops, HER Cincinnati and many others great organizations in the Greater Cincinnati Area.
