The Healing Center

The Healing Center exists to INSPIRE HOPE, FOSTER GROWTH, MEET NEEDS, BUILD RELATIONSHIPS, and REFLECT GOD’S LOVE in all we do.

Over the last decade and a half, thousands of families have sought the Healing Center for hope, support, resources, and community.  While the needs of those we serve have evolved, our commitment has remained the same: to provide a safe, judgment-free environment where people can plan their future stories as they take steps toward overcoming barriers and living lives that thrive.  

Thanks to our volunteers, partnerships, staff, and faithful supporters, the Healing Center acts as a hub, offering over 50 unique programs and services designed to meet the needs of our community. 

Educational Support– Learning English and earning a GED through on-site partner Cincinnati Public School's Aspire Adult Education program.  Those pursuing career development and one-on-one job coaching link with JobsPlus.

Physical Support– Adults without health insurance receive medical care from the University of Cincinnati Student Run Free Clinic and women receive pregnancy care from Life Forward Pregnancy Care Center, both on-site.

Social Support– Through Community Resource Connections people can receive resources, referrals, or support in any area of need or interest.  Annual holiday events and parties are planned to provide intentional social networking.

Spiritual Support– During a difficult season of life, people can voluntarily share their stories in a confidential and safe environment.  Whether it is a group devotion time or a meeting with a prayer partner, spiritual care is an option during a visit.

From the Marketplace grocery store to VITA tax preparation, all services are accessible to anyone in the community.  The Healing Center offers more than just practical aids.  Hope, dignity, and a path forward are the resources that make this a vibrant community committed to helping each other thrive.
