Garden For Hope

Garden for Hope was established in June 2025 by Cincinnati native's Jessica Ball and Alisia Davis, and Nepali citizen Ranjana Dhungel. These three women were united by a shared vision to provide rescue, refuge, restoration, love, and support for girls and young women ensnared in sex trafficking and human exploitation.

The founders firmly believe that while rescuing girls from trafficking is just the initial step, walking alongside them on their journey to healing is what truly makes a difference.

Human trafficking is one of the top global crisis in our world today — Nepal is at the center of it all! In 2019 the National Human Rights Commission estimated 1.9 million Nepalis are vulnerable to human trafficking, many of them children and women. 

Mission & Vision

Garden for Hope was founded with the mission to illuminate the path for girls emerging from profound darkness and despair. 

We aim to empower marginalized and sexually exploited girls and young women through rescue, trauma-informed care for recovery, education, and life-skills programming – equipping them to build independent, hopeful lives free from exploitation.

Our Home, Their Future

Our rescue home offers a safe and loving environment, creating a sense of family that addresses the girl’s immediate need for security. Following this, we provide trauma-informed therapies for healing, along with education and life skills development to empower them to cultivate secure, independent, and fulfilling lives free of exploitation. We seek to be more than a rescue home – we want girl’s to experience complete restoration!

Garden for Hope commits itself to empowering and successfully reintegrating survivors back into society and a life of independence. We believe every human being is deserving of care, hope, a future, and most importantly knowing they are loved.
