Story Starters

Winn Reading is seeking to have 25 new donors join at the StoryTime Starter level (suggested amount is $25/month). Each new donor allows Winn Reading to obtain a new starter book kit each month. These kits are shared with our young readers - helping them build their own libraries - and installing the joy of reading. 

Thanks to the generosity of a Winn Reading literacy mentor, we will receive a matching $25 gift for each new donor at the StoryTime Starter level - allowing your initial gift to provide an extra starter book kit for another young reader!

Winn Reading works with both students and teachers. We focus on helping children in grades Kindergarten through Third Grade. While working in classrooms, teachers provide input to our literacy mentors on which students need help and which skills they need extra support. We are willing to work with students already getting reading assistance from a reading specialist or who need that little push to gain their confidence in reading.
